Formhand Gripping Module FH-E3020
The FH-E3020 gripping module is our big and strong one.
It consists of a frame and a gripping cushion.
The rectangular Formhand gripping cushion (dimensions approx. DIN A4) can grip almost any object.
It succeeds in handling several different and complex objects by seamlessly adapting to the geometry and surface of the components.
The magic lies in the blue cushion: It is filled with a freely movable granulate. When gripping, the gripping cushion adapts to the object, thus creating a sealed system.
This shape adaptation is followed by the evacuation of the rectangular gripping cushion, which consequently adapts to the surface in a form-fitting manner. During gripping, the gripping force is transferred to the entire covered surface of the object that is to be gripped. This results in a gentle object handling due to the low pressure difference, and also enables a payload of 25kg.
Other companies use the gripping module FH-E3020 to handle heavy and bulky objects and to save additional costs caused by special grippers and changeover times.
Due to the large gripping surface, the FH-E3020 is also ideally suited as a stationary holding element or as a powerful clamping element.
The gripping cushion can be filled with different granulates and can therefore be customized for specific applications.
Should you nevertheless wish to make adjustments, the gripping cushion is attached to the frame module with a quick-release fastener and can thus be changed quickly.
